Gallery A-04 – All of November

With help from family and friends, I have just finished hanging a solo exhibition of my recent paintings at Gallery A-04 at the Capitola Mall. This collection includes recent work accomplished as plein air paintings (painted outdoors, on locations) along with a number of larger paintings which I have completed in my Soquel studio. Over 35 of my large and small original oil paintings comprise the exhibit. Click the picture of me hanging the exhibit to see a brief YouTube video tour.

You’ll see paintings from both Italy and France along the back wall, which speak to the “Far” theme of the exhibit. These paintings were painted in Europe, or were painted in my studio after returning from painting trips there.

As you enter the Gallery, you’ll see “Near” paintings, including local landscapes of the farms, vineyards and ranches in the Pajaro Valley.

On the facing wall, I provide my visions in oil paint of our spectacular coastline vistas here on the Central Coast of California.

The gallery is located inside the Target wing of the Capitola Mall, just past the SPCA shop. (Friendly neighbors!)  Gallery A-04 is an satellite of the Art in Santa Cruz outlet which hosts many local artists and artisans, including everything from paintings to jewelry to pottery, plus a wide variety of other art forms.

Please come by for a visit. I’ll be there most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the month of November, trading gallery time with my husband and partner Richard. (You may request entry, if neither Richard nor I are there, from staff at Art of Santa Cruz, across the hallway, on all days except Wednesdays, 11am – 5pm. )

*** The Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 30, we will host an exhibit party from 4pm to 6pm. Come by for art, music, art, snacks, art and good conversation! We hope to see many of you there. And have a fine holiday.
