Pajaro Valley Arts (PVA), in its new location at 280 Main Street in Watsonville, is mounting an exhibit to raise funds for the organization and to promote local artists. This year I have been invited to participate in their exhibit Hot off the Walls: Art to Go. Here’s what the curators have to say about the show:

“It began as Take Away: Art to Go, conceived by PVA member Susanna Waddell over a decade ago to create a fast paced, artist-friendly sale that benefited the artist, PVA, and the buyer alike. Over the years, it became a beloved annual tradition. After pausing in 2025, we are thrilled to introduce Hot off the Walls: Art to Go! - A refreshed contemporary take on the original concept, still serving as a vital fundraiser for PVA and our creative community.”

I was pleased to receive an invite this year to this event. I am offering a number of my plein air paintings for purchase. Most of the paintings by myself and the other participating artists are offered at $350 and lower. (Artists were allowed to submit one painting that could be listed at any price. For this piece I have entered Flowers at Green Oaks Farm 12x16”, oil on archival panel, painted plein air at the end of flower season last fall.)

The exhibition opens March 17, 2026 and will run to May 2. The Opening Reception for the public will be on Saturday, March 21 from 1-3PM, at which visitors can meet many of the exhibiting artists. Any art purchased during the show may be taken home at the time of purchase. Gallery Hours are Tuesday - Saturday 11AM - 4PM

In addition, there will be a closing reception and raffle Saturday May 2nd 1:00-4:00pm. The raffle drawing starts at 3:15.
