Water is central to most life on our planet. Water is also central to so many of the landscapes around us. I paint crashing waves, still ponds, bubbling brooks, majestic waterfalls, and high country lakes, as well as the mists and clouds that add depth and mystery to the world we see.

         “On my way to visit Local Color in Big Sur and replace paintings that have sold from there, Rich and I often plan a hike somewhere along the coast. On one of our visits, we hiked out to the beaches at Andrew Molera State Park. We took the high trail, a new one for us. Part way along stood an old log cabin amongst tall eucalyptus trees.” – mh [continued in Description below]
