Cypress Dance 30x40 - Michele Hausman

Cypress Dance 30×40

Unframed size: 30″ x 40″; framed size 38″ x 48″

“This painting was created in the studio. I found this tree on the Cypress Trail in Point Lobos Park, standing against the coastal winds with roots exposed, but clinging to the steep hillside. Those often strong coastal winds are made visible by the shapes of branches of these trees. The cypress remind me of graceful dancers, which led to the name I chose for the final painting – Cypress Dance.” – mh
