At one time, this painting was in my studio, packed away for a few years, as I was not convinced I was done. After over 2 years, I took out the painting again. I reworked it with ideas about color and design. I added life to the sea and brightness to the rocks and simplified some areas. I was glad I had the patience to take time to complete it. In it’s final form, “Grand Coast” was hung in the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History (the MAH) as part of their “Everybody’s Ocean” exhibition. Later, I hung it in my living room. Now I offer it for sale.
